Loyal followers of Ariana Grande are calling for that a person who breached a barrier and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.
A viral footage shows the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors made its way down a yellow carpet flanked by supporters.
Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by security officers.
Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though legal records revealed that he was set to appear on the following morning. It is not clear if he was formally accused.
This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the city last December.
"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," commented an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.
"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user remarked.
Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.
"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another response on Instagram.
A number of attendees also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while others called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's content.
In footage shared widely, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.
Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.
Numerous of fans had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.
The film, to be released on November 21, is the second of a two-film interpretation of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which revolves around the surprising bond between two contrasting sorceresses.
The show itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who plays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.
They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.
The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned ten Academy Award nods, securing two for best costume and set decoration.
