A popular South African media personality and entertainer has been shot dead in the metropolis of Johannesburg, sending shockwaves across a nation battling entrenched crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the city centre on the afternoon of Tuesday.
Officials stated the forty-year-old media personality was approached by three individuals, with one shot at him before escaping on foot.

Police said that Stock was attacked as he was leaving a location close to the city center landmark.
